Meet The Eggs

He’s a bit sketchy and doesn’t know why he’s in the car. He’s been known to rant a lot and goes off about the most random stuff in his blog. His craziest post? His theory about the birthmark on his head that resembles Darth Vader and how it obviously lets him access powers from the dark side.

He’s high as a kite and just enjoying the trip. Smiley-squinty-guy … everything is AWESOME. Phil lives his life as if there’s a happy, upbeat soundtrack playing in the background. He’s the go-to guy for the perfect 4:20 soundtrack, just check out his SoundCloud playlist.

Cool and Calm, and totally confident in his driving ability. For those who follow him on Instagram he appears to live the perfect life –the sports hero by day and partying ladies man by night.

She’s never tried weed before. She’s in the car because she wants to be ‘part of the cool crowd’. She is the go-to girl when it comes to finding hilarious “time-wasting” YouTube videos. Her favourites are of crazy cats.

Smoking weed has made him a bit paranoid. He’s a “glass is half empty” kind of guy who can find danger in any situation. He’s scared of his own shadow and would walk around wearing a helmet and padded suit everyday if he could. He prefers the safety of his gaming world over real life, where he is a completely different guy- a fearless thrill-seeker.

Nikki

She’s one of the guys. She rolls with the best of them. You go girl. She‘s so over Facebook, but rocks it on Pinterest where she can show the world what she’s interested in using images. She’s a fan of abstract, trippy photography and visuals, and follows all the best boards. They’ll blow your mind.

He’s the car guy and usually the one in the driver’s seat. The Alpha Male in the group. A man of few words, Luke is at home on Twitter where he can tell his story in 120 characters or less. Luke always appears in control and knows how to fake it when he’s not.

Wilson

Wilson is all partied out and usually looks like he’s ready to pass out … drool. He’s building his own website that features all the best 24 hour fast food joints along the all-night bus routes, but it’s been under construction for a year now.

How to make an omelette with cannabutter

Preparation: 5 minutes

Cooking: 20 minutes

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 pack of bacon
  • 1 red pepper (cored and chopped)
  • 1 cooking onion (peeled and diced)
  • ¼ cup of grated cheese
  • 3 teaspoons of cannabutter

  • Small saucepan
  • Large saucepan
  • Spatula
  • Yolk separator
  • Whisk
  • Mixing bowls
  • Paper towels

Add the bacon to a large saucepan and allow to brown, then add the onions and chopped veggies to the second saucepan.

Fry the bacon until brown and crispy in its own grease, and the vegetables in one teaspoon of cannabutter until they are soft and cooked.

Once all the ingredients that you want to add to your omelette are done cooking, remove them from the heat and set them aside for now.

Remove and place the bacon on a lining of paper towel in a bowl and drain the grease from the saucepan.

Use a yolk separator to divide all the eggs into two separate bowls.

Take a whisk and blend the egg whites until it begins to form stiff, white peaks.

Now do the same with the yolks, only they won’t quite reach the exact firmness, as they are thicker than the whites.

Pour the egg yolk mixture in with the whites and gently fold them until they are thoroughly combined.

Break apart the cooked bacon into bite-sized chunks, add it into the egg mixture along with the cooked vegetables, and fold them into the foamy mix.

Place a large saucepan on a burner and set it to medium-low heat with ½ teaspoon of cannabutter.

Once the cannabutter melts and begins to sizzle, it is time to start frying up some fresh omelettes. Measure out ¼ of the mixture then gently pour it into the saucepan.

Cook the omelette for 3-4 minutes before flipping.

Continue to heat the omelette for an additional 3-4 minutes before topping it off with grated cheese.

Give the cheese enough time to melt then fold it into half and enjoy the dish while piping hot.

Repeat these steps until all of the omelettes are cooked.

How long do edibles take to kick in?

After you enjoy a fresh plate of weed omelette, it might take a bit for you to notice the effects, as they won’t kick in until the cannabinoids enter the bloodstream, which can take up to 2 hours to occur. That is why it is always recommended to wait at least 2 hours between each serving of edibles.

How long do edibles last?

Since edibles delivery cannabinoids through the stomach rather than the lining of the lungs, the effects can take longer to kick in and last much longer than your average smoking session, which is why these goods are notorious for causing the intense and overwhelming adverse experiences in new consumers. After ingesting cannabis edibles, you can expect the effects to last for up to 12 hours before they will wear off, which is an awfully long time to be left in an uncomfortable state. One of these cannabis omelettes should be enough to keep you high almost all day long, so be careful and always be sure to enjoy them in moderation.
