Government weed strain

Is G13 by itself even possible? I thought it was married to hash plant to keep the strain from not dying out. so, I’ve always thought that if you saw G13, or G13 Haze, you were quietly getting hash plant genetics as well. Not JUST with Mr. Nice. (But then again, I might just be remembering Mr. Nice instead.) Anyway, this isn’t a great way to discuss shit, but many G13 summaries say that G13 is for “Government Indica Strain”. Wouldn’t that be a “G.I.S” abbreviation then? It could have stood for “Gov’t Indica #3” – with the person who stole it misreading the capital “I” as a number 1. That sounds like something someone would write on a 5 gallon pot actually. I just wrote “Planet Dosi #3” on one of my growing plant pots. I only have one of them. 😆 If nothing else, if you’re stoned and reading these reviews, maybe I gave you something to think about. Take care!

The G13 I use to get in FL in the 90s; To this day I still have never seen or felt anything like it. The original strain was unreal, like it fell out of a UFO

My hip stopped hurting, the tightness in my cervical column has led so much and I’m still moving around. Very very good, the residuals were just a content feeling of being.

Worth the extra cost – no anxiety left and lasts long

G13 Strain Review G13 did exactly what it said on the tin. After smocking Stardawg for the last 7 days I was getting somewhat tired of late nights wide awake! 😂. Starts off exactly as described with a little kick of energy. shortly after you just get a full on body high and melt away into full on relaxing and chill. So much so in fact I fell asleep before posting this review and had to re-type.

Awesome bud very relaxing very relaxing

G13 has been easing my anxiety for over a year. But beware if you are watching your diet. This strain is not for you. The munchies are real on this one. Someone noted they could have eaten a house while medicated on G13. I probably would have if it were possible. Lol One of my top faves.

Incredible, I feel like a different person after a toot of this. It lifts any pain, but not in so much of a heavy way, it’s a lighter sensation. Anxiety is gone, haven’t felt this good in a long time (for full disclosure I am on the up after a very bad spell so anxiety is not as severe, sure it would help loads during a bad spell too though. Would highly recommend for chronic pain and anxiety disorders!

Absolutely love G13 perfect for pain and anxiety relief

The hype on this strain is quite fun. Theories aside, it is a dumpster truck indica. t29 very potent. Looks wise very frosty. Not the prettiest but definitely worth some praise. But beware this strain is good even for those who got used to large medical doses. Very surprised to see this good medical quality and high potency in the northeast. Constantly seeing things above 28%. Great for migraine and sinus pressure. Cranial pain too. Heavy indica cleaning but a tiny bit of clarity. Earthy, woody, piney.. this would have been insane to see 2 decades ago, the prices were insane. The medical programs really help us out. It should be across the board legalized, but regulated with responsibility, respect, and for some of the proceeds to go into school farm /agriculture programs in any sales. Folks should be able to grow a certain number of plants per household member over 21, but pay a small license fee which would fund the registration of those so they cannot be persecuted against, just like the medical program. This isn’t hard. All these scripts fail in treatment and are highly dangerous and dependence is large. This plant, is less dangerous than alcohol. You cannot die from consuming it. Once doctors are less put under a microscope more conditions will be treated with Mary jane. Should be sleeping .couch lock yes..but one eye open like a whale Stay smurfy

G13, also known as “G-13” or “Government Indica Strain 1,” is an indica dominant hybrid (70% indica/30% sativa) strain with unknown parentage. This bud is rumored to have been created by the US Government during the 60's and 70's when they were experimenting with growing native Afghani weed stra…

G13 Marijuana Strain Review + Guide

The G13 strain is a different breed of weed according to its fans, and it is a marijuana strain with a hint of mystery. Indeed, discovering the origins of legendary strains grown between the 1960s and 1990s is difficult. At that time, marijuana was completely illegal throughout the United States, which meant breeders didn’t have the opportunity to track down a full list of genetics and the sources of weed they used.

Their main concern was to avoid getting caught! As a consequence, many of the older strains you may use carry with them a legend or two, and G13 is no different!

What Is the G13 Strain?

As a best guess, G13 weed is an indica-dominant (70%) hybrid strain. As for its history, it is almost impossible to tell the difference between legitimate story and urban myth. The story of G13 arguably begins at a rural Mississippi research facility sometime between the late 60s and early 70s. According to one account, at least one U.S. Government agency was allegedly developing weed with assistance from the University of Mississippi, which is where government-approved cannabis grows.

The suggestion is that the G-men grew pure Afghani clones labeled from G1 to G23. While every clone had slightly different traits, G13 was allegedly the most stable. Then, a breeder named Neville Schoenmaker contacted an unnamed rebel lab technician who was keen to liberate G13 and received a single sample of this new strain which he spread throughout the United States.

G13 made its way into the mainstream via the smash hit movie, American Beauty, where it was featured as a form of marijuana that doesn’t make you paranoid . In truth, the origins of this strain remain unknown (unless you believe the myth), but we definitely know that it is an exceptionally good smoke.

G13 Aroma

G13 is NOT a strain suited for clandestine users. You can put it in a sealed bag and STILL get a slight skunky whiff! It has a slightly sweet smell with more than a hint of savory cheesiness. Add in a wild berry scent, and you have a pretty unique smelling marijuana strain.

G13 Flavor

Most users enjoy the sweet pine flavor, which helps set it apart from the majority of strains you’ll use in your lifetime. There are also mossy and woody flavors mingled in. When you add in a hint of creaminess, you have yourself a strain worth savoring.

G13 Appearance

When you gather a good sample of G13, you will notice a thick coat of trichomes . Check beneath a high-quality nug, and you will marvel at the layers of trichomes located beneath the calyxes. Conclusion: G13 is a strain designed to help you get VERY high!

G13 Strain Grow Info

G13 is a strain that excels indoors or outdoors. Consider using the Sea of Green (SOG) training technique if you are intent on growing enormous buds via an indoor weed installation. We recommend leaving lots of space between branches to provide room for these buds to grow, and also to keep good airflow. Consider pruning your G13 crop, but make sure you cut a little at a time or risk sending your plants into shock.

G13 is capable of handling daytime temperatures as low as 65 degrees Fahrenheit, and also thrives when your grow room’s temperature is as high as 85 degrees. When growing outdoors, you’ll benefit from the fact that this strain handles lower daytime temperatures better than most marijuana strains.

Outdoor growers will enjoy higher yields than their indoor counterparts because it flourishes when it has room to branch out. In fact, it grows so tall that you need to support it during the flowering stage. It is a heavy feeder, so make sure it gets lots of Nitrogen, Potassium, and Phosphorus.

Outdoors, G13 is ready for harvest late in the season, at the end of October or even early November. G13 could yield an incredible 40 ounces of bud per plant outdoors which makes it possible to mass-produce it. Indoor growers don’t exactly miss out on yield. Its flowering time is 9-10 weeks, and indoor cultivators could see a yield of up to 21 ounces per square meter planted.

G13 THC Content – Highest Test

Advances in growing technology, coupled with genetic selection, means it is almost becoming ‘normal’ for marijuana strains to contain 25% THC or higher. In the golden age of marijuana, the THC content of weed was around 4% on average, mainly due to the low-quality of weed which normally consisted of stalks and stems.

There has been an increase in strains with an alleged THC content of over 30%. In reality, it is likely that labs are artificially inflating the THC content of strains. We know this because the chemical ceiling is around 30% by dry weight.

In any case, there are lab tests which suggest that G13 has a THC content of up to 24%. Unlike many other strains which have a large THC range, G13 is fairly consistent. The majority of samples will have a THC content of at least 22%.

CBD Content – Highest Test

We now live in an era where there are marijuana plants specifically designed to have a high CBD content . Cannabidiol is known for its potential healing benefits, and unlike THC, you will not experience a psychoactive high. This is why high-CBD, low-THC strains such as Charlotte’s Web are legally available to children with epilepsy.

G13’s CBD content is around 0.25% on average, although you may find samples with 1% CBD. This is not high enough to counter the strain’s psychoactive effects.

Effects of G13

It won’t take you long to discover why G13 is considered a ‘super strain.’ You will feel a head high that begins right behind the face. It also relaxes you in quick time and could help relieve you of any stress you’re currently feeling. Users often claim that a few tokes of G13 immediately puts them in a better mood.

G13 is exceedingly potent, so a little goes a long way, especially when you’re a novice. Initially, you should feel energized, but soon, the indica element kicks in and you feel infinitely more relaxed. Fortunately, G13 does not induce couch lock, but the balanced high could lead to euphoria.

Medical Benefits of G13 Strain

G13 is a popular medicinal strain and is often used to treat chronic stress. As it helps to elevate your mood, consider using G13 if you are suffering from depression, anxiety or any other mood disorder. The potency of this strain also ensures it acts as an analgesic, so if you have an issue such as migraine headaches, joint pains, or muscle spasms, G13 could be the ideal strain for you.

Possible Side Effects of G13 Strain

The main issue lies in G13’s potency. If you are a novice user, consuming too much G13 could cause a spike in any anxious or paranoid feelings you already have. In rare cases, this strain has been known to cause mild headaches once the high has worn off. You may also experience cottonmouth , dry eyes and dizziness. This is often due to dehydration, which means drinking water before, during and after using G13 could reduce the risk.

Final Thoughts on G13 Strain

The origins of this strain may be super-secret, but there is no mystery as to what happens when you partake in G13. It is a strong cannabis strain that will deliver a euphoric high that is likely to improve your mood. If you are in need of a marijuana strain that offers a really positive effect, look no further than G13.

Although it has indica-leaning tendencies, G13 offers a relatively balanced high. You can safely use it in the afternoon without turning into a sedated vegetable, and you only need to use a small amount to enjoy its benefits. As for all the talk about this strain being the work of government agencies such as the CIA and FBI, it is highly unlikely. It isn’t as if these government agencies want people to feel happy and contented after all!
