Aurora Indica description

Aurora Indica Characteristics

Some of the best cannabis flowers out there are the ones that end up opening up to twice their size when ground up; if that’s what you’re looking for then Aurora Índica is the strain for you!

Aurora Indica Origins

This indica dominant plant comes from an Afghan strain combined with a Northern Lights. This plant is quite short and flowers quickly, perfect for warm climates or indoor grows. This compact plant is quite discreet, although its intensely sweet flavor might give you away.

How to Grow Aurora Indica

Growing Aurora Indica Indoors

When grown indoors this plant grows up to about 0.6-0.7m, allowing you to place quite a lot of them per square meter because most of the yield is centered on the apex stem. You can simply get rid of the lower branches and grow in a SoG system using seeds. It takes about 60 days to flower after flipping the lights, although if you wait a couple of weeks the flowers will be a bit denser. If you grow using a SoG system with 16 plants you can easily get around 450g per square meter.

Growing Aurora Indica Outdoors

Outdoors this strain is quite easy to grow and it gives amazing results, although it needs quite a hot climate in order to grow to the best of its abilities. They’ll grow short and strong, and you’ll need to train the branches due to the enormous buds that grow all over this plant. While indoors you should grow it with just one central stem, outdoors it grows out plenty of branches. It should be ready towards the end of September in the northern hemisphere, although depending on how mature you like your buds you can harvest a bit later.

Aurora Indica Effects

It has a sweet, fruity flavor that’s perfect for smokers that don’t like their smoke too intense. The thing is, this plants flavor seems to trick smokers into thinking it isn’t intense; it’s extremely sedative with quite a medicinal, physically relaxing effect that can actually calm pain and treat insomnia. It’s also extremely resinous, so if you want you can make top quality extracts.

  • Sativa/Indica: 5/95%
  • Flowering: 7-9 weeks indoors, mid to end of September outdoors.
  • Height: 0.75-0.95m indoors, 1.5-1.8m outdoors.

Aurora Indica by Nirvana Seeds is an ideal strain for indoor grows. Its short height and large productions make it very profitable. Sweet and sticky buds.
