“Land of the Dead”, Been using this seed since Random Gen was added.

In “Land of the Dead” 4096 x 4096, I spawn where a desert and wasteland city blend. I’m less than 50m from a trader (Bob’s), and can see another trader (Rekt’s) to the east maybe 800m away. To the west I can see a stadium on the outskirts of the city, and to the south a pine forest/snowy town, 17.4 is so far the best version of this seed.

I generated “Land of the Dead” 8192 x 8192, but have not played it, yet.

Also, and perhaps the most incredible thing, this seed generates a town that looks the face of Harambe, with a lake that looks like sunglasses. Will add screenshots later.

I am looking for a good seed.

looking for something with water I want to build an underwater base

I am looking for a good seed.

Use your imagination ?

You can use anything as a seed your imagination is the limit. ? 😀

You could also use nitro gen as it has a perfect option for what your looking for.

And its called “Scenario” and you have 3 options No1 None, No2 “Sunken World” No3 No POI’s

I would suggest No2 as it would fit perfect for your idea ?

I once made the mistake of gen a sunken world by mistake and i was shocked by how fantastic it turned out..

So let me know if you try nitrogen with “No2 Sunken World” 😀

finding it hard to get a good stable 1 myself,

aaa East Teuko Country 8×8 is stable but a bit boring for solo play, might be ok for multiplayer

I had Xig Xag Xulu South Nigako Country 8×8 was good in 17.3, but now so many poi’s either 5 blocks under the road level so you can’t get out or floating in the air and just collapse, would love it if someone could get the 17.3 version of Xig Xag Xulu for me to download somehow as I do not have it anymore

I’m kind of newish to the game (started in 17.2), wish I knew how to make my own world map (except for the underground bit) to add mountains and change biomes would be awesome, have so many build ideas, I love this game.

You can try “Netta” without quotes. I have not explored the entire map yet but I am happy with this one.

It has four traders near each other situated in pairs. I built a base in between both pairs.
No flowing water, lakes or ponds but plenty of snow.

Many towns, pois and nice roads. Very little Destroyed biomes.

Currently playing seed Crackpot Kentucky and finding it a pretty good seed. 17.4 seemed to break a lot of previously good seeds, vastly reducing green areas and replacing them with mostly wasteland and burnt biomes. This seed still has a fair bit of wasteland and burnt but a reasonable amount of other biomes too. Another plus is that in the north east where my base is there are 5 traders all within a very short distance of one another (i.e. less than 1.5 km apart). So far the roads I’ve encountered have been reasonably good and where they are a bit odd they are still easily travelled on by bike etc. After looking at heaps of seeds and being dissatisfied I hope this helps someone in the same position as I was.

Which size u use on Crackpot Kentucky?

Hey. Any one can share seed for map with bigger biomes or any custom map ? That RGW is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, breakiing fun in this game. I try use some modded generator, map was great but it wasent generate small roads, just main ones.

Why don’t you use NitroGen ? Make The Maps Up To 16K in size.

Description [ edit | edit source ]

Farming is the process of planting, growing, and harvesting the various Trees and Plants found in 7 Days to Die. This process allows the player to set up a farm and sustain the production of certain foods, items, and resources.

Journal Entry [ edit | edit source ]

Use your fists or any tool to harvest crops. After you have bought the required level in the Living off the Land perk or found a schematic you can craft seeds from harvested crops. Craft Farm Plots and plant seeds on Farm Plots using the secondary action and increase your harvesting yield through buying more levels of the perk.

Farming Basics [ edit | edit source ]

Preparation [ edit | edit source ]

Tree seeds can be obtained by fully-harvesting (felling) a mature tree. Planting tree seeds requires only the appropriate seed and an open area of land.

Crop seeds can be found via Looting or for purchase from Traders. You can craft seeds from flowers at Level 2 of Living Off The Land (Perk), berry & vegetable seeds after unlocking Level 3, and mutated seeds at Level 5.

As of A18, crop seeds can now only be planted in a Farm Plot.

Lighting [ edit | edit source ]

Plants (with the exception of Mushrooms) also require natural light so that they can grow. This means that plants need to be outside, or have some method of receiving natural light. A chimney will work.

Various types of blocks will let light through. This is defined by either the shape of the block, or the material it is made from, or a specific value that is specified. The light levels have a range of 0 to 15, 0 being completely dark and 15 having access to full sunlight. A block with a light opacity of 1 will reduce the amount of light that the blocks below it receive by 1 (assuming it is the only source of light, as in a tunnel to underground). So Bulletproof Glass will reduce the light below it from 15 to 13, still plenty of light to grow plants.

The amount of light that a block receives will also reduce by 1 with the vertical distance from a light source. A block that is over six meters from a natural light source will not receive any light.

Growth Cycle [ edit | edit source ]

Trees will initially appear as small saplings, which only yield minimal Grass when harvested. Trees slowly grow and mature in stages until a maximum size is reached (determined by the soil type in which the tree was planted).

Plants initially appear as seedlings and slowly mature over time. Inspecting a plant by aiming your crosshairs at it will display its growth stage: seedling, growing, or (type) plant. Only fully-grown plants can be harvested. If a seedling or growing plant is harvested, the seed for that plant is recovered in your inventory.

Harvesting [ edit | edit source ]

Trees are harvested for wood via chopping. This can be done with bare hands if necessary, but is more efficient using tools (Axe). A mature tree that is fully harvested will also provide tree seeds once felled.

Plants are harvested by left-clicking any mature plant. Harvest yield is equal when using bare hands vs. any tool, and is only determined by the Living Off The Land (Perk). Once a player-placed plant is harvested, it reverts back to its seedling stage in its plot. Plants found growing organically on the map are simply destroyed upon harvest. If a seedling or growing plant is harvested, the seed for that plant is recovered in your inventory.

Seeds [ edit | edit source ]

Plants [ edit | edit source ]

Harvest yields are determined by the Living Off The Land perk, varying between 1-3 units per plant harvest.

Trees [ edit | edit source ]

Wood yields vary based on the size of the tree. Below are yields for felling fully-mature trees.

Maple Tree’s have been Removed.

Crops [ edit | edit source ]

  • Blueberries grant minimal Fullness and are best used in Blueberry Pie. They are easily found growing in the Snow Biome as early-game food. They can also crafted into seeds for farming later. Note: Blueberry plants grow bright green and are far more scarce than the frost-colored Snowberry Plant.
  • An Ear of Corn can be cooked into a Corn on the Cob and is a very useful early game food. It can also be used to make Corn Meal as well as being an ingredient for Meat and Vegetable Stews. Corn Meal in turn is used to cook:
  • Blueberry Pie
  • Corn Bread
  • Grain Alcohol (used to make First Aid Kit, Recog, Grandpa’s Moonshine)
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Pumpkin Cheesecake
  • Pumpkin Bread
  • Fish Tacos
  • Plaster Cast
  • Grandpa’s Moonshine
  • Potato is best used in stew, but can be eaten raw or grilled using a Cooking Grill to produce a Baked Potato.
  • Coffee Beans can be used to brew Coffee, which when consumed will give the player the positive effect Caffeine Buzz.
  • Cotton Plant can be used to craft Cloth Fragments or Cotton Seeds.

Notes [ edit | edit source ]

As of A18, tilling soil and the use of hoes has been discontinued. Farming now requires crafting Farm Plots.

Video Tutorial [ edit | edit source ]

(Alpha 18) Farming using the new Farm Plot.

(Alpha 16) The video guides you through how to farm trees and crops, the effect of tilling and fertilizing the soil, and basics of underground farming and light. It also touches on the different crops and what they are used for.
